Flowers are a beautiful medium for expression; they convey a message symbolising how we feel at a particular time. They often say more than words could and we use them for this very reason. We have different flowers with different meanings to help us express ourselves. An amazing quote on flowers I came across is “Perfumes are the feelings of flowers,” Heinrich Heine, The Hartz Journey. The colour of the flower is often a point for expression with the same flower in different colours having different meanings; the Tulip is an example of this:

We have been in out of the hospitals in Dublin city over the last few weeks more than we have ever before which is a sure sign that he baby boom is well and truly underway in Ireland again.
